Last Saturday night five members of the Order of Copernicus brought a few cases of whoop ass to the 5-man heroic scene! Unknown to my comrades-in-arms, the hidden agenda of this run was to help me get my last three achievements for Glory of the Hero , which we accomplished along with 9 other achievements. Overview
Ah the tankadin. We love those front loading, face smashing, light wielding, shield throwing, ground anointing, judging fools. Their threat generation has long been king dinagling and we’ve all loved it. This article will take a look at the “969″ rotation, but in a very simple way.
The “969″ rotation refers to the rotation of greatest threat generation for Paladin tanks. It is named as such because it refers to alternating 9-second and 6-second cooldowns throughout the rotation. Now some of the abilities aren’t actually on a 9-second or 6-second cooldown (like consecration )…but the 969 refers to the average I guess.
You can find all the theory crafting you ever want at the maintankadin forums , inclulding Matlab simulations and the works. A great resource for sure! But I like to simplify things, and to that end I’ll share with you what really made it clear to me…the 969 is really 2-button WOW!

Cataclysm is coming and with it the old Azeroth will change forever. Additionally, the expansion will introduce a new race to both the Alliance and the Horde. Personally I’m excited about returning to the new old world and seeing what new adventures await… Already there has been talk of the Gnomes retaking Gnomeregan plus a ton of new race/class combinations are going to open up. While our main characters will get to experience some of this new content, the majority of the newly redone zones are going to be best experienced by an alt. So this begs the question… what kind of Alt are you going to roll?
You might think that this is a question you don’t have to answer just yet, seeing as the release date for Cataclysm has yet to be announced, but the sooner you do, the sooner you can prepare. Seeing as you can be collecting Emblems of Triumph or Champion’s Seals to purchase Heirloom gear to help the leveling process out. Personally I’m going to be rolling a Worgen Warrior, what about you?

Alright, I have to come clean, there really isn’t a rotation to Healing as a Restoration Druid so the title of this post is misleading. Healing is very situational and depends on a number of factors, so attempting to follow a pre-canned rotation just won’t work. However, there are some tips that can help maximize your performance.
