Great job Punch and Pie ! We got through Sindragosa and had our first 11/12 night! Good times had by all. After the 11th boss went down, several of us newbs (about 12 of us) stayed around to pull the Litch King just to see what it was like. This was my first pull, and because I’m such a huge dork I really enjoyed the fail and the sentiment behind the whole thing. This was my first time seeing an Expansion Boss!
We are trending nicely to the predictions below, as you can see by the curve…now with Sindi data represented as well. According to the trend, we should kill the Litch King on Thursday Oct 7th, or Saturday Oct. 9th. It’ll be fun to see how close we are. The Sindi data moved the LK prediction out by one week to what it was previously . We should still get there before Cataclysm (hopefully)!!!shift1

Yes indeed, believe it or not, our 25-man raid team is still at it. It’s been a slow progression for us, only playing once per week and dealing with Summer-itis…but we are still progressing none-the-less. In this article I’ll describe the nature of our raid progression, and will make a prediction for when Punch and Pie will kill the Litch King.
This week, our Punch and Pie raiding crew busted through what seemed to be that proverbial glass ceiling of raid progression. We’ve been at 8/12 (8 of the 12 bosses in Icecrown) for what seemed to be a very long time. This week, we finally downed Blood Queen Lana’Thel and then 1-shot saved Valithrea Dreamwalker . I’ll speak for myself, but am pretty sure everyone shares the sentiment when I say….WOOOTTT!!!! shift 1

It has been a while since we’ve made progress with our weekly 25-man Icecrown crew. It’s been a combination of several things – Summer signups, unexpected cancellations, and of course a crappy tank named Caladin that keeps signing up every week.
But alas, this week we finally made some progress. After clearing the lower spire, Rotface and Festergut in about 75 minutes, our raid found ourselves taking on Professor Putricide .

Punch and Pie has had a great couple of weeks. Two weeks ago we finally downed Festergut after struggling to do so for a few weeks…well, I should say Bromith finally downed Festergut. We hit the enrage timer, but Bromith was quick with the pally bubble and bought us 10 extra seconds for the dots to tick…which did the trick. Way to go Bro! For those of you unfamiliar with the fight, Festergut is a DPS check in Icecrown, which means you have to kill him before he enrages and stuffs your face in. We’ve been struggling to do this regularly, but we think it’s in the bag now. Check out the screenshot below of Bromith bustin a move after he made Fester the dead.
This past week we fielded a solid group. Our good friends at Blame Roll/Unguilded took the week off for spring break, so a few of their faithful came and joined us at Punch and Pie. They were welcomed and we had a great time. Festergut died with 40 seconds to spare on the enrage timer, and we got our first Rotface kill. Afterthat, we got our first Blood Prince Council kill, and were able to spend 40 minutes learning the Queen fight. It was quite a leap forward in our progression. Sometimes things just work out. And last night, all the planning and preparation by the Punch and Pie charter led to a very successful transition from ICC10/TOC25 to ICC25. The crew, full of Order of Copernicus faithful, LeftOvers regulars, and a few new to Punch and Pie faces, successfully cleared the Lower Spire, earning for many of us the 25-man versions of Storming the Citadel and I’ve Gone and Made a Mess .
