Greetings to all, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce Tyrolen . He’s a level 80 Dranei Shaman that, for a long time, was the only max level shaman in the Order Of Copernicus. When I first hit 70, this was a great advantage, as I was able to go to the guild raids of Karazhan once I had sufficiently geared myself to be able to drop totems and hit the heroism button.
OK then…Caladin told me that I needed to make a bio post for posterity’s sake, so here it is. I play a Draenei Hunter named Elithrea . She was not my first character–I wasn’t one of the guild’s founding members, but I was recruited in that era. I’ve been playing since late 2005, and after a stint as a Paladin, changed over to a hunter when BC dropped. I’m also one of the guildies who only has one real main–I’ve dabbled with other classes, but would rather pour more time into upgrading Elithrea than working on another. Read the rest of this entry »
Eg (pronounced like egg) is a gnome mage currently studying the more arcane art of, well, arcane magic. He has been told time and time again by his peers (of which there are few) that arcane magic is old fashioned and all the kids are playing with fire, but Eg continues to strut the arcane blasts and the occasional frostbolt (mostly because I am too lazy to respec him). Eg is a gnome of few words, keeping many of his thoughts to himself and only speaking when his sense of humor demands it. He prefers to just stand there looking tough with a brilliant green mustache and magnificient cape.
Being good friends with McTully, Eg was coaxed into joining the Order of Copernicus(OOC), Silver Hand with promises of glory and power unchecked. As it turned out, there wasn’t much glory but a great bunch of people to enjoy a great game with. Our raids have been very entertaining and surprisingly productive and I am sure you will see many a YouTube video of our exploits in the future. Speaking of raids, Eg feels he has provided a great contribution to OOC with insightful advice after a few raid wipes such as “Turn the suck off!”

Mctully is a Gnome rogue on Silver Hand with a colorful backstory. The intriguing part about the Adventures of Mctully is that they are largely known only to himself, as his whereabouts from levels 70-80 are a mystery to me. No, really. You see my WoW account was hijacked during a six month hiatus from the game. I ultimately learned of this via a Blizzard email informing me that my account was ‘closed’ due to ‘exploiting the economy’. Well, after working out the details of getting my account back my level 70 Gnome rogue was now level 73, and… well different.
Let’s just say that when I got him back his 450 Skinning tradeskill was removed and replaced with 450 Herbalism. Meanwhile his bank account and mailbox were overflowing with herbalism materials.

The guild brought me back into the fold and was anticipating my return, but I was reluctant to start playing again. On my behalf, a guildy leveled Mctully to nearly 80. (Thank you, Tonya!) When I logged him in for the first time since 70, Mctully was sporting a pink mohawk, wearing a wedding dress, carrying a flower bouquet, and standing in front of a quest giver to ding him 80. Thanks guys… it’s good to be back.
The forensics are preliminary, but the story is coming together in the Adventures of Mctully section!

About two years ago my fellow co-workers started talking about this game with shaman, elves, priests, and something they called a space goat. As any “normal” person would do, I made fun of them. Then in one brief moment of weakness I downloaded a trial version of WOW and started an account.
So it begins.
Swanny is a Dwarf Hunter. Due to real life limitations, my play time consists of shorter more frequent play sessions. Unfortunatly this is not the best way to gear up a toon. However, it is condusive to running dailies, playing the auction house, and PUGing short raids. This is how I do things. Swanny is almost entirely geared from BOE items, badge gear, and by running Vault of Archavon. It’s not always pretty, but you do what you can.
Remember, if you clean up after your pets you are more likely to get invited back.
