
Sometimes things just work out. And last night, all the planning and preparation by the Punch and Pie charter led to a very successful transition from ICC10/TOC25 to ICC25. The crew, full of Order of Copernicus faithful, LeftOvers regulars, and a few new to Punch and Pie faces, successfully cleared the Lower Spire, earning for many of us the 25-man versions of Storming the Citadel and I’ve Gone and Made a Mess .

So…over the past few months, I’ve been itching to try to down Sartharion with three drakes up, via the popular “zerg” method. If you do so, you get a crack at a cool mount , a new title (“of the Nightfall”), and of course, the achievement (along with the other achievements below it (1 drake and 2 drake ). It wasn’t too long ago that I was poking around on the Armory and noticed that it has been undergoing some pretty neat upgrades in the past few months. I’m really diggin the 3d model viewer, because it’s cool to see a character as more than just stats. There is now a facebook app, if that’s your sort of thing, but the capability to subscribe to a character’s RSS feed is the coolest social feature yet in my opinion.
Real life has done a great job of keeping me out of The World of Warcraft this year (2010). I definitely have not been able to play as much as I’ve wanted to, but I’m hanging in there. I’m lucky to get one play session per week these days. Luckily for me though, my guildies still let me tag along when I am able to show up. Since I can’t play much, the RSS feeds from the Armory have been a great way for me to keep tabs on my guildies to know what’s going on.
