It’s that glorious time again, a brand spanking new arena season. Vendors have been bombarded with hundreds of remarkable pieces. Arena Season 7 introduces Relentless Gladiator Armor sets and weapons. The stats are so sweet they’ll make you laugh with delight. I know what you’re thinking… “How do I get my hands on these delectable treats?” Well I have good news; this guide breaks down all of the pvp gear currently in game, along with common questions like; what rating, how much, which vendor, and can I get it any other way? So whether you are new to pvp or just earned a Gladiator title, there’s something here for you. Enough chitchat. Let’s ride.
Deadly Gladiator Armor: This armor set is best suited for a pvp beginner or someone who has been away from the game awhile. Although only the 5-piece set is available, it’s certainly the easiest to obtain. Deadly gear is purchasable with (1) lots of honor, (2) less honor and some arena points, (3) conquest emblems. All three options are viable but arena points are far too valuable to be spent on this armor tier. You’ll want to horde them to buy items in better sets. Options 1 and 3 are a better choice for efficient spending. To buy arena gear with emblems, contact the Conquest Vendor in Dalaran. Gear purchases via arena points or honor are made in the Dalaran Sewers or your faction’s capital city. Check the purchasing chart below, followed by Just the Tip for those of you with phobias of paragraphs.
Just the Tip: Deadly gear is easily obtainable for the new pvp’er or an all-star making a comeback.
Furious Gladiator Armor: Last season’s end-game pvp set; Furious gear continues to pack a punch. Although the weapons are no longer available, the entire armor set is still purchasable. The offset pieces (neck, boots, etc…) are available for honor alone. Combine those items with the Deadly 5-piece set and you can be fully decked out before ever stepping foot into an arena. Furious 5-piece set items become available starting with the low-low requirement of 800 rating and are purchasable via (1) honor and arena points or (2) with triumph emblems. It’s not a bad idea to pick up a piece or two before making your push for Relentless, but remember, those arena points are valuable and are worth saving till you can break into the 1400’s of arena ratings. I personally recommend buying the shoulders. Chart time.
Just the Tip: Furious offset is cheap, buy it all. 5-piece requires arena points so only grab a piece or two before moving on to Relentless.
Relentless Gladiator Armor: The cream of the crop, the sultan of swat, Relentless gear is as good as it gets. Hopefully you’ve been playing at least 10 games every week and have been saving those arena points, because they’re about to be spent by the thousands. Relentless 5-piece requires a rating ranging from 1400 to 2000 and costs a pretty penny. The good news is offset is still purchasable for honor alone and is first available with a 1200 rating. Offset gear is sold in faction capitals (SW / OG) while 5-piece is only sold in the Dalaran Sewers. Don’t forget you have a weapon to save for as well…
Just the Tip: Relentless offset is sold for honor alone. That’s a steal.
Relentless Gladiator Weapons: Only available during this season; Relentless weapons are your primetime face smashers. I hear they make pretty good “stat-sticks” too. The item level 245 weapons require a rating of 1800 in any bracket. I’ll say it again, -ANY BRACKET-. Fairly inexpensive, purchasing a 245 weapon is a solid investment. Don’t get your hopes up, item level 258 weapons can only be purchased by advancing a 3’s or 5’s team to 2200 rating. Sorry fearsome twosomes, these beasts aren’t for you. All weapons are sold in the Dalaran Sewers.
Just the Tip: Item level 245 weapons are available in -Any Bracket- with an 1800 rating.
There you have it, the Arena Season 7: Buyer’s Guide. It’s sold at a retailer near you and reads faster than a speeding bullet. Well maybe not, but it’s faster than looking everything up yourself. One more hot tip: run Vault of Archavon every week. Rumor has it pvp gear drops in there
Giggity!

Tnanks a lot for it, dude ^^
