We R teh Softcore?

We are the guys from WoWGiggity, a group of real life friends who work together and play The World of Warcraft, a game by Blizzard Entertainment.  Our enjoyment of The World of Warcraft begat the genesis of this blog.

Softcore?  We consider ourselves “softcore” WOW players.  What does this mean?  Softcore falls somewhere between “Casual” and “Hardcore.”  We consider ourselves knowledgeable and skilled players, who progress through end game content, dabble with several alts, and strive to bring our digital best to the table.  However, we do this while fulfilling work and familial responsibilities.  Most of us play regularly once per week as we progress through the end-game content.

What is the Center of Excellence (COE)?  This is what we call the office at our work where we gather for lunches to talk about WoW.  It’s a bit tongue-in-cheek…as in if you wanted to find one of us at lunch time, you know you can find us excelling in the COE.  We decided the COE was too good to keep to ourselves!  The purpose of this blog is to bring the fun and hilarious conversations we have amongst ourselves to the blogosphere.  Thanks for joining us!
